G Wilmoth's Story

Comments: I just wanted to express my profound appreciation to Dr Brian Gilmer and the entire staff including Dr Dawson at Mammoth Orthopedic for their help in my recent diagnosis of a malignant tumor in my right humerus and subsequent shoulder surgery and reverse shoulder replacement. Although the shoulder replacement was done at USC Keck because of the cancer, because I live in Bishop, I had several occasions where I needed assistance with incision care, and avoiding infection. Dr Gilmer and staff took care of the vacuum bandage and replaced it and redressed the incision several times. I would have been in trouble unless they had helped me out. Dr Gilmer is who I went to when the fracture occurred, and he diagnosed my situation and referred me to USC. Anyone who thinks Bishop/Mammoth doesn't have 5 star health providers doesn't know Dr Gilmer. I am grateful for his knowledge and compassion
